by Steve Swartz

The book is dedicated to the “Jeremiahs and the Jobs whose tears are fresh.” The author’s practical illustrations drawn from the saints in the Bible shows us how to respond to hard times.
Trust the sovereignty of God. He is going to do what He is going to do. His plans will not be thwarted and you can rest in that. He is always accomplishing His will.
Securely ground yourself in God’s faithfulness before the trials come. Stay in the word and speak the truth out loud. God glorifies Himself through suffering.
Acceptance of a difficult situation is hard when you don’t know how or when it will end. The Bible says it is good to wait. It’s a lesson in walking through a river of tears.
My trial is not the barometer of whether or not God loves me #StrengthintheRiver Click To TweetDon’t let unsanctified emotions make decisions.
