Micah’s passion is to share hope beyond the hard times. Her dad was the most spiritual person in her life, a pastor who led her to saving faith in Jesus Christ, who then left the ministry and his family. When they were left to face life without him, her mother encouraged her to look to Jesus.
After years of pushing down the pain from her past, trying to let go and move on, Micah learned to replace trauma with truth.
“If we pursue God with a sincere heart, we can find the truth we so desperately need. Desperation leads to divine deliverance. Those moments when my knees buckle – that’s when God meets me. That moment with God is a gift and I’m learning to thank God for desperate seasons.”
God meets us when we can’t do anything else. That’s where we have to apply truth to the moment. It’s easier said than done, it helps to speak it and write it down as a record of God’s faithfulness.
“God is powerful and real and available to anyone. And it’s okay to ask the hard questions and admit when we are overwhelmed. There is freedom in the deepest darkest pit of life.”
