THE BROKEN WAY

by ANN VOSKAMP

“Who doesn’t know what it’s like to smile thinly and say you’re fine when you’re not? Never be afraid of being a broken thing”

Giving thanks and offering a sacrifice in the middle of suffering is transformative.

“When you forget God all you remember is anxiety.” The cure is to focus on who God is and the brokeness of Christ given to fix our brokeness.

Live like Christ, broken and given: giving our time, our love, giving Christ. Because when we try to get more we get less. “Be the GIFT.”

“We fill ourselves up with things that don’t make a difference when we could be giving away things that do make a difference.” We are least depressed when we are least focused on ourselves. Give brokeness as a gift. Our own brokeness heals when we give it to the One who was broken for us.

This book will stretch and challenge your faith. Offering a sacrifice of praise to the Lord is not for the faint of heart. Be thankful in your less than enough.

“I don’t know how the day will end, but faith thanks God in the middle of the story.”

What are you thankful for?
