Grace
Kimberly discusses her feelings of unworthiness because of her father’s drinking. She made self-destructive choices until she realized how much her Heavenly Father loved her. His hand was on her shoulder guiding her to show forgiveness, grace and mercy to her homeless father who found his way home three weeks before his death.
Grief
In her grief and brokeness she came to realize how much she had wandered away from God and how He wanted to redeem the heartbreak, bitterness and ugliness and turn it into a beautiful relationship.
God’s love
Breaking the shame of Satan’s accusations, she found God’s pursuing love. A counselor helped her see her own need for a recovery program and for the first time in years she opened her Bible.
The road back to God began when she admitted she had no control over her life. Her grief drove her to the Lord and it was a painful process, but she found acceptance and love. She shares how God redeemed her life with others.
