I hope you have a very merry and very good Christmas. But I suspect you might be very tired and about ready to quit. All the decorating, shopping, wrapping and cooking is enough to exhaust anyone.

Things are getting really bad
This week I’ve heard a lot of bad – crime, cancer and crisis. It’s easy to think about the bad we see. It’s easy to talk about it too.
Good is the opposite of bad. Ok, call me Captain Obvious. But listen, you can holler woe is me, and wail about all that’s wrong OR you can do what Paul tells us to do in Philippians 4:8
“Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.”
Good fruit
The fruit of the Spirit is….
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness
Prepare your heart for Christmas
We have a good God . Think about that!

Now I can’t sing like the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, but I can sing along, “We can sing what the angels sang, ‘Peace on Earth, Good will toward men.'”
