Is your appetite insatiable? When we feel we can’t get no satisfaction we tend to try and stuff the empty places. We could all use a little more self-control. The problem is my self can’t do it. It takes the power of a mighty God!

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness , and self-control.
As you Prepare your heart for Christmas, this one is hard.
There’s a place deep in our souls that craves satisfaction. When you don’t let the Holy Spirit fill it, life gets out of control.
Too much is never enough
You can clean your heaping plate and food won’t fill it. Swiping the credit card again and taking home a bulging shopping bag won’t satisfy. Even surrounding yourself with loved ones can’t take the place of true fellowship.
Gratitude
What if having more gratitude leads to more self-control? Finding satisfaction in the Lord suppresses the need for excess. We all need more of Jesus!
Be thankful and be satisfied. And have yourself a merry little Christmas!
